I picked up an old post card a couple of weeks ago in Salisbury of Hush Hush in apple green livery, it was a painting not a photograph so maybe artistic license.

After the success of the limited editon Deltic the NRM are asking for suggestions as to future models. Maybe you would care to suggest the Hush Hush W1 as I have done, you never know !!!!!!!!!!!! I am sure it would be a runaway success.
The only problem would be the E Bay speculators as against the true model railway fratenity.

Always touching to see profiteering explained as altruism...

If that's how much they want to bid, then fine.

There was a smiley on my comment.

And as you say Mark, two people bid it to whatever price it sold for. The "can you believe how much this sold for?" threads on listservers/etc can get very boring. Just because the poster didn't think it was worth much doesn't matter because two people thought it was worth more *to them*.

Have to say that the NRM model of the prototype Deltic looks very nice indeed. 8)

Apple Green Hush-Hush

Hmm. That would have looked great. Might have been even better in garter blue.

What y'all think? :?:
