G'day all
I am currently building a Little Engines A6 and a DJH A8. I've built the chassis and they run well.
On starting the superstructure I noticed that the cab cut outs on the A8 are less than those on the A6.
I don't have drawings for these locos and I am wondering if both are correct?
There is nothing in the RCTS green books about cab cutouts.
I will probably have to order a couple of Isinglass drawings. However, I would probably start another loco while waiting for the drawings, which would delay the A6 and A8 even more.

Re: Cab side cut outs for A6 and A8
Good morning all
After careful study of photos of A6, A7, A8, H1, and T1, it appears that the cab cut-outs were reduced for class H1 (built 1913 onward) which they kept on rebuilding to A8. The remaining classes had large cut-outs.
