There's a photo in Steve Banks' book about LNER expresses which shows a D9 in about 1925 still in GCR brunswick green.
I'd like to model something similar, but ideally in LNER guise. Did any D9s ever appear in GCR brunswick green but with LNER insignia and number? I figure it'd make a nice change from apple green on my ex-GC loco stock.
