E1, livery details

Post by manna »

G'Day Gents

I'm looking for livery details in the LNER period, I know they didn't last long, but I'd like to know if they were repainted etc, I have a few pictures of them in GNR livery, so a pic with LNER on the side would be a bonus, Thank you, a future project in the making :D

Have you got the relevant Yeadon, or Locos of the LNER Vol 4 which shows that they were in LNER Passenger black for the 3-4 years that they survived into the LNER?
Remember there were Stirling ones and Ivatts, with many differences.

Hi, John. Just having a colour is enough, I'll probably go for a Ivatt one, I have a couple of pictures of them, but in GN livery.

Thanks for that. manna.
