I picked up one of these a while ago on ebay and I haven't seen another Cowlairs one on ebay, auction sites or elsewhere.
I would appreciate it if anyone can provide me with some information about it.

The date is pre-grouping so the plate must have been manufactured between 1923 and 1948 at the Cowlairs C&W works to replace one on an old NBR wagon.
Any thoughts about it, including the type of wagon it could have come off, its rarity, etc.?
