wet film cameras and silver dont mix. They always make it look white, yet Bittern was very aluminium silver when it was in the NRM.
Its good to know where you stand. Saves making a fool of yourself later......

Closest I got to Bittern/Silver Link was when it was in bits at Loughborough, next to the O4. Both sets of frames exposed. My dad took great glee in pointing out which was the Gorton engine and which was designed to run at 100mph - the one with the thicker frames was the Gorton one.

Anything weird or unusual will catch my interest, be it an express or locomotive

I'm also drawn to the commemorative, let's hope Bachmann will produce 6165 Valour.

Ay up, PP - nice to read your dulcet typing!

Nah, the piccies aren't in the Wallet. They're in a file. The file I then put in a safe place.

Safe from me as well!
If I ain't here, I'm in Bilston, scoffing decent chips at last!!!!

Sorry, but 60019 was only cosmetically restored as 2509. It wasn't till towards the end of 2007 that 60019 was restored to working condition
