I was wondering if anyone would have any information with regards this aspect?
Sure I already said that too!!!

No9s overhaul is progressing well with all the cladding now on and being painted. All pipe work now being finished off. Engine and tender reunited. Unfortunately she won't be ready for June 30th tour so will be staying south of the boarder for the forseable future.

It'll be good to see her in steam again :)

Someone over on UK heritage hub reckons 46115 (replacement for the railtour) is better than 60009 - what a load of rubbish

Can we please refrain from childish comments about the pros and cons of certain locomotive types. Both the A4s and Rebuilt Scots have their place in railway history and both types did what was expected of them in service.

My apologies. I forgot to add that both classes are equally as good.

Ay up!

46115 was the very first engine I ever cabbed - at Haworth, still with a yellow stripe on the cabside.

Wonderful engines - rough riding but would make steam on a cig lighter. And they could give an 8P a run for their money!
If I ain't here, I'm in Bilston, scoffing decent chips at last!!!!
