Gresley Corridor coach - seat colouring

What is a suitable colour, from Humbrol / Tamiya / Games-Workshop ranges, for the seats in Gresley corridor coaches? The prototype coaches were built in the mid-1930s and are to be finished in a livery appropriate for the period 1946-1950. If important, the coaches are to diagrams D114,115 and 175.
