Dont forget you need a curved edge A3 Cab to match if you do a A2/2 Earl M

I'm thinking A2/2 60506 in BR dark green currently, though this picture of 60501 has piqued my interest - is this an A3 tender it is coupled to?

Yes its the one used by the A3 as well as the A2/2 as confirmed earlier :lol:

All of the A2/2's retained their tenders albeit of two different types Beaded and Streamlined Non Corridor designs till scrapping.

Ypu must get the RCTS volume its a mine of info :!:

OH, I see now :oops:

The difference is literally the beading. Good to know, both of mine are beaded...!

Beaded have curved side sheets

Streamlined no beading and straight side sheets

Wasn't 2001/60501's tender of all-welded rather than riveted construction?
