LNER Fan 60008 is right. Lets be thankfull she is running in any form rather than a static exhibit. Would there be the same amount of interest is she was stuck on the turntable at the NRM week in, week out. I dont think so. Lets hope the NRM keep her running in any form, any colour, any number, etc.

Good point.

My gripe is, as always, with the so-called "organizers spelt with a zee" not the locos or, indeed the poor sods on the ground who have to listen to the garbage from above and try to explain the inexpilicable...

Can anybody give me any further information on a blue version of 60103 supposedly produced in a set for M & S?

Now you wish they'd paint the actual engine in that color someday. I like it, too.
