The water tender and support coach were outside the Museum this morning if that's any indicator.

Tornado's tender was in the yard as well; not sure where the rest of it might be (unless it's in the workshop).

Has Scotsman come back yet?

Was at York NRM on Wednesday, in the yard beside the East Coast main line. Tornados tender is in the yard but the engine was in one of the workshops being painted, making quite a good job of it as well. Also in there was a black tender, which may be off the Scotsman, although she herself was,nt there. I have a few pictures of 4492, but dont know how to send them.

Just to confirm the post below.. I visited Saturday. Tornado is nicley finished in BR Green and lined, I think they were finishing around the cab, it does look very smart... the Tender i assume was in the yard. Scotsmans tender was in black with no sign of the loco... each were placed on lines either side of 55022 RSG. Bittern was alo in the yard and viewable through the window by the Flying Scotsman exhibit in the warehouse.

Thanks for the help with this query
