Scarborough Spa Express has lost it's Diesel....BUT!
The Scarborough Spa Express today lost it's diesel,
The Only thing is....it wasn't Green Arrow!
Green Arrow looks bad, as I couldn't find anything out, but I could see the Breakdown crane that was in the workshop on Sunday (When Green Arrow wasn't) is now back outside, and Sir Lamiel was drafted in yesterday, as it wasn't around on Sunday!
Will see what tomorrow morning's press has to say, as it usually has info on Scotsman breaking down!

When I look at UKSteam http://www.uksteam.info/tours/t06/t0710q.htm it was moved from Tyesley (NRM says he was with the Hull Locomotive Preservation Group (and still does) on the 10th July!
Well NRM had it well hidden!

No, it has been in to the up platform all the time, except last night when it was (very) early, and tonight was the first time I haven't been to the station, as of family bereavement today.
The reason it has been in the up platform is that on the down there is a GNER which leaves at almost the same time in the same (south) direction (GNER is quicker off)
and as for Sir Lamiel, big mistake in the rain, there was a huge slip last night just before Scarborough bridge, and tonight I think he was at the signal just before Bootham, as it was strugling to get going, with losts of slips.
Hope this helps
