A very full account of the experiments by Robinson (utilizing the bogie tender) can be found in the RCTS 'Locomotives of the LNER' Vol. 6B PP42-45.

The bogie tenders were used with locos involved with the pulverised coal experiments. Most articles about these experiments will give details of the tenders involved.
