A4 Cab Seats

Post by greenglade »

Hi guys

I'm building a model Of Mallard and trying to build her as she was for her record run....my question is have buckets seats always been fitted to the A4's or did they have the early type seats as fitted to A1/3's before being converted?

regards

Peter,
According to the Green Bible p 107
The cab arrangement was based on the A3..........Padded bucket seats were provided for both driver and fireman, and the rear sheets were raised accordingly to clear the backs
