I notice there is a steady stream of threads about signalling, signal boxes and track layout.
Would it be a good idea to have a separate forum for discussion on infrastructure such as this?

Quite possibly.
As I've said before, I'm generally reluctant to add new forums - it tends to thin the traffic too much; but I think you may have a good point...

I guess the next question is where we put location discussions.
Something like the discussion of a particular station, junction, etc seems to make sense with Infrastructure, but a train-spotting location in the main LNER Discussion or LNER Locomotives?
